Portland Recorder Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we need your support! Your $40 annual membership pays for our professional conductors, music copying costs, space rental, and administrative fees. In return, you can:

–come to all our monthly playing sessions receive our email newsletter
–get a discount at the annual music retreat network with other musicians
–have a great sense of supporting the recorder community as a whole

Additional donations are welcomed, necessary, and TAX DEDUCTIBLE, as membership fees alone do not cover our operating expenses.

We are also a qualifying organization for Oregon Cultural Trust donations! This gives special tax advantages to Oregon tax payers. It allows a person who makes a donation to PRS to make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust (up to $1000) and get an equal tax credit on their Oregon state taxes. This essentially makes the donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust free. For more information, go to to the OCF web site: http://www.culturaltrust.org.

Attendance at your first playing session is FREE to check us out. After that, if you don’t become a member, drop-in rates are $10 per session.
