The Timeless Music of Isaac Heinrich Isaac (ca. 1450 – 1517) was one of the most prolific composers of the time, producing an extraordinarily diverse output, including almost all the current forms and styles. He was born in Flanders, and during his career worked for Lorenzo the Magnificent and Emperor Maximilian I. We’ve selected some of our favorites that are very accessible and not overly difficult. Included will be: ”Bruder Conrad” (Brother Conrad), “Innsbruck ich muss dich lassen” (Innsbruck I must leave you), “Et je boi d’autant” (And I drink as much), “Par un jour de matinée” (On a day in the morning), “Greiner, Zancker” (Whiner, quarreler) and more.Bring recorders, reeds, early brass, and strings. We’re looking forward to seeing you Sunday October 13 at 2:00pm at St. David of Wales!
